What Is Sylfirm X?
Sylfirm X is an RF microneedling treatment. Very fine needles deliver controlled radiofrequency heat into the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin. It has two modes:
a pulsed wave that targets pigmentation, redness and abnormal surface blood vessels, and a continuous wave that targets texture, scars and skin tightening.
This dual action is why Sylfirm X is used for several concerns at once, from melasma to acne scars to early sagging, with less downtime than many resurfacing treatments.

Note: Melasma is a long-term condition and can return, especially with sun exposure, heat and hormonal changes, so treatment works best with daily sunscreen and a maintenance plan. • have taken isotretinoin (Accutane) recently
• have a pacemaker or other electronic implant near the treatment area
• are allergic to gold
• have an active infection, cold sore, open wound or acne flare-up in the treatment area
• take blood thinners or have a bleeding disorder
• have skin cancer or an active skin disease
• tend to form keloids, or have a recent sunburn, tan, laser or chemical peel
In some of these cases we will delay treatment or suggest a safer option.
What Happens During Sylfirm X at Aesthetic Studio?
Step 1 Consultation and Skin Assessment
Dr. Saddiqa reviews your skin, concerns, medicines and medical history, and explains the plan and what results to expect.
Step 2 Cleansing and Numbing
Your skin is cleansed and a topical numbing cream is applied so the treatment is comfortable.
Step 3 Choosing Your Settings
Dr. Saddiqa sets the device to suit you: pulsed wave for pigmentation and redness, continuous wave for scars and tightening, or both.
Step 4 Treatment
The handpiece is moved gently over your skin. You may feel warmth, light pressure and a mild tingling. The session usually takes 30 to 60 minutes.
Step 5 Soothing
A soothing, hydrating product is applied to calm the skin before you leave.
Step 6 Aftercare
Expect redness and a sunburn-like feeling for a day or two. Use sunscreen daily, keep skin moisturised, and avoid retinol and strong acids until Dr. Saddiqa says you can restart.
